I’m a business guru and lactation professional, with 3 young boys. I love coffee and baking and I have recently taken up gardening. Life is full of continuous learning!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have 4 wonderful kids of my own, which allows me to bring both experience and empathy to my practice. As a nurse, I look forward to providing evidence based infant feeding support to the families I serve. As a mother, I pour my heart into every family, which shows in the care I provide.

Ashley Treadwell is here to support you through all feeding challenges—from prenatal visits to plan for newborn care, to weaning consults when you’re ready, and everything in between. This can include pain, low milk supply, weight gain issues, gassy babies, bottle refusal, returning to work, and more. We work with all families and feeding methods, helping you feel more confident and supported in feeding your baby.

During my dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian, I first encountered a lactation consultant and was inspired by the fulfillment she found helping families. After breastfeeding my first child, my passion grew, and later I successfully nursed my twins until age 3. These experiences deepened my commitment to supporting parents. I also enjoy gardening, walks, and cooking with my three beautiful boys.

I became a lactation consultant after struggling with breastfeeding with my first. I went back to school after my 2nd baby was born to re-train for lactation. Even with a master’s degree (not healthcare related), it still took me 3 years and I am proud of the time I spent learning lactation! I enjoy traveling to other countries, especially, but travel in general is one of my passions! I also enjoy refurbishing old furniture.

I became an IBCLC after breastfeeding my kiddo Jax. I love watching babies and families grow. The fact that I get to be helpful to new and expanding families is very rewarding. I have a bit of a cussing and buying craft supplies problem.

After experiencing the joys of breastfeeding with my first child, I faced challenges with my second and found it difficult to get the support I needed while managing a little one at home. This struggle inspired me to create a way for new parents to receive the help they need from the comfort of their own homes. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me spending time with my 3 kids, hiking, biking, or enjoying a pilates class

Two amazing kiddos call me mom, ages 13 and 9. I have nearly 5 years of cumulative personal breastfeeding experience. I love to talk with others about their parenting goals. Using my education and experiences to guide others to thrive in their lives has been an immense joy in my life and allows me a plethora of opportunities to learn from community members as well.

Claudia Batista, an IBCLC fluent in Spanish and based in NYC, discovered her passion for lactation over 10 years ago while working in WIC as a Nutritionist and Certified Lactation Counselor. She provides virtual and in-home consultations with a comprehensive approach to managing challenges and reaching feeding goals. Her specialties include pumping support, milk supply, bottle refusal, and tethered oral tissues.

I became a Lactation Consultant when I could not find quality support for pursing exclusive pumping with my firstborn. I have two young boys who keep me very busy, so if I am not working you can often find me at the park, gymnastics, or the library.

Specializations:

After nerve-wracking breastfeeding journeys with my daughters, I knew families deserved more education, support, and better experiences. This led me from Critical Care to Mother-Baby nursing and then lactation. After 3 years in hospital lactation, I opened my private practice in April 2019 and have been serving families since, offering compassionate care, education, and support on their feeding journeys.

I became a lactation provider and doula because of the transformative support I received during my own birth experience—it showed me the power of compassionate care. Supporting families on the journey of parenthood is a privilege close to my heart. I believe we grow into parenting with love, support, and patience. When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family, reading, baking, and traveling.
